Here it is: Another plane. Another airport. A waiting room. A transfer corridor. The next destination. Down from the mall straight to the ball. From casting to show. The cover of Vogue is the result of the show. to not forget to eat to call my mom, not lose luggage or passport, not break a bone and not get a brain concussion. All of this has already happened! There are adventures everywhere! What’s next? I don’t know but I’m doing my best and I think I’ll succeed. And until it happens… Let me tell you how I met my favorite city on the planet!
London is my home, but others love New York City, Paris, Milan and Tokyo. For me, it’s the birthplace of Queen Elizabeth II, the largest European city, and the mecca for creative young people in the world – London. My inspiration and love at first glance. Our love affair began about a month ago when I arrived in London for winter fashion week after signing with one of Europe’s leading modeling agencies, Models1>>. We fell in love the moment I walked into ‘s model apartment to meet two beautiful Russian-speaking girls. The girls were from Kyiv, and the other from Siberia. (I wouldn’t say that I was bad at English; it’s nice to be able to meet insiders). I went with the girls on a walk in the park. Gone, and I blended in with the city. From the beginning, these streets felt like my home. The incredible architecture, red busses, the underground system, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square are just a few of the many things that draw tourists to London. And it’s not even a full list! London is my favorite fashion capital.
You’re right, I understand what you are thinking… but what about Milan, with its Prada, Dolce and YSL? What about Paris, with its Margiela and Celine, and what about New York, after all? You are a fashionista in your own right. But! Most of the creative directors behind famous brands began their careers in London. In London, the world-famous Central Saint Martins University was founded. Many young people come here from around the globe to find themselves and their passions.
London is the place I would go to get the best education. I will be going there in the future. The incredible concentration of creative units in one place makes it impossible to become bored. Vintage markets, music, art exhibitions, museums of fame, youth blocks in East London, fashion shows, fairs and exclusive shopping… London has it all. Who cares?! London is a bloody paradise! Since our first encounter, I have come back to this place again and again… I fear that I will not get tired doing it. The great Samuel Johnson (Ed. English critic, poet and lexicographer, 1709-1784. I love each and every street, despite its possible flaws. I love it the way that it is. I love Him all. Period!
